What a lovely time I had!!! :D

Ace stuff, what are his plans for the cars?

Posted

Not sure mate, most appear to be rotting away, a couple (like the DAF) were obviously under repair and had been pushed there out of the workshops.

It is indeed on the IoW.

Should be opened up as a tourist attraction I reckon.

Some don't look that bad considering their {outside} location. The A40 is my favourite of a very nice bunch.

Holy cow :shock:8). What is it with the Isle of Shite?

I spy not one but two Wolseley Sixes amongst that lot - paging Keef!? Metro 1.3S is my favourite though.

Seems a shame for some of those to be sitting in the weeds - I'd happily rescue the Alpine, the Wolseley Six or the blue Wolseley 1500.

Is that mk.1 Fiesta on the road? It looks tits

Rather sad to see them in such neglected condition. The fact some of them pretty much have trees growing through them would suggest to me that there are no positive plans for them. There must be some good sources of spares there, at least.

I wish these people would invest in a petrol strimmer and cut down a bit of that foliage.

Seems an utter waste to me to be honest :( ! I don't see how leaving cars in a field to rust away can be seen as enthusiasm! Some of those are rare especially the series 1 Allegro 1500.

I would love to save that Maxi it is fairly rare being a late 1500 and has only been off the road for four years.
