The electric reference has confused me. Presumably this is one of those Range Rover-based monstrosities that were all the rage for a while, especially with the Arab market in mind. Glenfrome?

Neither AC or Hustler.

Yup Bol - just found a thread about it on Retro-Rides. Got any more info JHT? Not sure it is Rangey based after all - note how the transfer lever is not exactly ergonomic in its placement!

Well done again to messerschmitt owner.

Sorry I don't have any info on it, just what I managed to hear the owner saying about it when I was taking the pictures.

is the boot a cut down version of the bonnet, both from a range rover?

I don't think so. Hasn't got the distinctive Range Rover 'castles' at each end of the bonnet.

my money would have been on the 6 toed result of an incestuous relationship between Range Rover and his sister the Marina

That really is a fugly old thing, it looks like the sort of box-on-wheels cars I used to draw when I was about 4. It has Duple Dominant coach rearlights turned sideways if I'm not mistaken.

It is a kit car based on either a VW Beetle or something else not normally associated with the kit car market. I've found the answer but I'll let you keep guessing.

IOW registration. Fiat rear light clusters?

Rear lights were used on buses and coaches - which is why they seem a bit large! Someone mentioned Duple, but they were also fitted to Leyland Atlanteans/Daimler Fleetlines with Park Royal/MCW bodywork.

Anyone want to have a guess at this one?
