I used to hate cloverleaf(?) alloys. Not a fave, but nowadays I think they are pretty cool on the right car (MK3 escort)

 

Apart from the RS ones above and maybe the odd rostyle I'm not moved by alloys and I hate all 3 spokes with a passion. My fav is probably a plain old steel wheel, no hub cap or trim.

+1 here for Fuchs and minilite wheels. I love torque thrust wheels on customised American stuff too.

I like a nice honest set of steels on mine - not usually the prettiest of things, but I don't worry about scuffing them the same way!

Anyhoo, I always thought the slab ones on the Mondeo looked right:

 

 

There's one still 'in storage', which will become a deluxe hose reel when I can haz garage.

Just not 3-spokes! Nooooooo...never seen a car that looked good on a set of 3-spokes. They just look wrong to me, like there's a few spokes missing.

Nothing whatsoever wrong with a set of BBS cross-spokes. They don't work on every car, but the ones they do work on, work very well.

Never seen these on a Fuego (or anything else) before. A few results for Fuego seems to show them.

 

I like quite a few Renault alloys.

 

I've been fancying getting a set of these for the Princess, same PCD and tolerable offset, possibly.

I've actually still got a set of 5 of these alloys which I pulled off my Sapphire Ghia I scrapped when I was young a stupid. Might clean 'em up and chuck 'em in the back of my garage.

There's a set of these Amils up for grabs on Ebay at the moment. I've watched them decline in price steadily. I think a dubber bought them hoping to make a massive profit from YO OMG STANCED MIKE BURROUGHS GLORIOUS LEADER SOFT FOCUS EDITION 38 HELLAFLUSH crowd but has been left sorely disappointed.

They might be the same ones I missed out on over on the blue forum because I had precisely no money... and still have precisely no money. Was going to get them painted high gloss black with red inserty bits and stick them on the Polo... Scene yo, &c.

There’s a navy blue 940 on Hydra wheels that I often see parked up near work. Such a good combination!
