My cousin gave me his model car collection on Monday Wouldn't take a penny for them! Apart from the newer Elise and slightly earlier F40, I like how the majority are from a very specific time period, 1995 to 1999!

Meanwhile, I visited the ESSIX Chodgathering this weekend, and with the Rover in hibernation and the Audi not quite having the character required for one of these meetings, I took my German registered Opel Ascona instead.

Told my Cousin that the McLaren, which is a UT was likely wirth about fifty pounds (saw a similar one for sale with missing mirror for 45) but he still wouldnt accept a bean. He was just happy that they had gone to a good home.

Pleased to get another couple of Superfast. There were several others I could have bought that I'm currently missing, but once the prices go above £20-30 each there's a limit as to how many I can get at a time.

Wow I must go to this before I die!! As always, the Solidos are superb. I dont normally favour models with no opening features but that MK3 Astra is a cracker too.
