That burger i NOM NOM NOMED on, gave me a right burning ring. Propper Japanese flag and everything.

Ooh and you all owe me £500 for stealing my sweets :(

Actually the guy runing the sweet stand laughed at me, he placed the sweets on his scales, let out a giggle and chirped £8.95  - fat bastard of the day !

If anyone would like to peruse my album of the show here's the link:

My fav. non-AS car would be the Marcos Mantis, I would never have expected to see that.

Also I was driving the FSO through Northallerton last week and what I assumed to be a Clan passed me in the opposite direction. Odd I though.

Then here is at the show: 182302_10150828885712992_695095217_n.jpg

This Jag seemed to have had all the lead-loading either stripped off the panel joints or never had them after repair!

What a great day, I thought it was going to be a mudfest after all the recent rain but we didn't need the wellies. We had to rush our full English breakfast in order to get across town to meet Retrogeezer, Mash and Mr Bo11ox outside Sainsbury's. As previously mentioned we stopped off at the Bollcave to see the fabled Bollmobile

Its coming on nicely, hopefully we'll see it at the show next year.

Here we are on the way in, following the Bollargenta with the wobbly exhaust

My favourite pic:

and now some more good stuff

Looks like Station needs a trip to the Bollcave. Love the cool wheels by the way.

Very Gothic

What big eyes you've got Grandma... ATCNBE

I make no apologies for showing another pic of this beauty and the little 127 took me back to the day when I had a new one on order but they couldn't deliver because of a strike

Retrogeezer's lovely clean Escort and the Bollargenta proudly displaying it's two tone colour scheme

I was tempted to crop this in to just the mudspatter but the rest is too good to miss

CITW's BX Estate: what can I say, I would love one

and to finish, a bit of gallic charm spoiled by wafty wing mirrors

Stumbled across your club stand at Cholmondeley and must say it was a great display and variety of cars you had there.

Nice to chat with some of you guys and nice bumping in to Shaun with the Yellow Toyota who's car i know well.

Hope you guys can arrange a meet in the Chester / North Wales area sometime.

Also I would like to invite you along to Retro Car Mania on the 2nd & 3rd June over at Weston Park, Nr. Telford. The show is in it's 3rd year and brings together a great variety of Retro cars.

The main show day is on the Sunday, but you can camp on the Saturday and and take in the evening entertainment in the marquee along with licensed bar & caterers.

I can sort a deal with yourselves where if you block book 10 or more weekend tickets with me then I can do for only £10 each.

Cheers Dean, might try and get over for that as not too far away. Glad you found us, for real and the net!

It was a great show to be fair and massive thanks to cavette for organising everything and to everyone else for showing up in there shite. I'd be interested in that show at Telford if anybody else fancies it as I'm only in Wrexham so not far from me.

Weston Park's a great site for car stuff, I went to a VW event there a few years back. Only hitch I can see is

Retro Car Mania runs alongside it's sister show Dubs Mania, so you get two shows for the price of one

Not a problem for me as I'm a scene monkey myself but, well

Anyhow sounds good to me if I can blag the missis (unlikely) :x

Ha, that reminds me of the little convoy of 4 cars I blasted past on the A500 - a couple of Super Minxes, a Farina and some other 50's saloon - yeah, go Datsun, 70s POWAH!

I've just noticed there's a 'UK Passats' meeting 2/3 June. They'd better pray it doesn't rain or they'll be knee deep in water in the footwells and the electrics will pack up again!
