SOLD: Austin 1300 TR7 SOLD!!!!!!

Hope this is within forum rules. I am losing the lovely long drive that my fleet resides on so I need to make two become one as the spice girls sang (dont know why I admitted to knowing that!). First up is the love of my life (for last two years), my little old Austin 1300, 72 made, 73 registered so tax exempt. Needs a bit of welding to drivers floor, probably a ball joint and a couple of bulbs BUT I havent had a good look! I have spent over £2400 on her during my ownership and she has a FULL history file, recent work included new outer sills fitted and painted, new front tyres, new clutch (but garage buggered it up with metric oil seal so slipping at high revs!) and lots of other stuff.Overall, very solid but paint crazing on bootlid and needs a damn good polish!!!!! Carpets out to inspect floors, interior very good condition, 65k genuine miles.

Looking for £700 and £500 respectively, no offers please as need enough to buy new shite OR what have you got in swap or part ex for me????? :D PICT0034.jpg

I can confirm that that TR7 looks to be an absolute bargain - someone should snap it up at that price!

(It's way better than mine).

I'd love either of those- the 7 has such a fantastic period colour scheme- lovely!

That TR7 does look bargainous...and an early one on an R plate. I'd 'Say You'll Be Mine' if I had room for it. Hope someone on here 'Holler' 's for it!.

Love the TR7, only ever seem to see soft top ones about these days. Any test left on the ADO16 Steve?

I do like that TR7. If the 106 would sell (I've had nothing but fugging timewasters and no-shows so far) I would be tempted to offer you the Metrocab and some pound notes for it.

{impossible dream}

Where abouts are you located please, Steve? Cheers.

That TR7 is making me do a sex wee. I cant afford it though as all my cash is tied up in the Lancia at the moment. :(

£500 is like spending a penny!

I'm amazed that this hasn't sold yet, Maybe it's too cheap and putting people off?, I don't know but £500 is peanuts for a car with this much cool i think.

I know i should not ask this but would you consider a swap with a Day 44 with 6 months tax and a years MOT? Can't make any promises as it does not just belong to me, its shared with a mate but i could maybe convince him.
