Donkeys years ago I tried to buy a brand new Chinky Sporting. Fiat had a 0% finance offer on when most places wanted 12%

The sales*man informed me in one word answers that because the 0% offer ended in 4 weeks and the car would take 6 weeks to arrive, I couldn't have 0%.

I suspect this was bollocks, but he clearly didn't want to sell me a car that day.

The dealership is now a pile of rubble and I bought a (very) used Golf Gti instead.

good buy - these things are great fn to drive sepecially in town - pure Fiat - tinfoil body and revvy little engine - the moment you get behind the wheel driving in a relaxed fashion goes out the window. I got one as a courtesy car years ago when I lived in London - perfect car for a big city

did a 190 miles round trip last night didn't miss a beat and averaged 49mpg

the thing with it is you have to thrash it but it loves it hates being at low revs

I feel 17 again it makes me laugh when you fly past people in there brand new cars make them look lol

Top buy!

I had one few years ago, went like the clappers and you half the time when you were 4 wheel drifting on the hooj 165s you didn't realise!

Make sure you clear the drain for the bulk head or the water backs up and goes through heater box hole and fills foot wells with water!

It's under the false bulkhead thing that runs from half wayalong the battery to the pass, back corner of engine way.

The hand brake wil be pony.

They were from new! Get a approriate size cable clamp, U shape thing from B and Q made by Eliza Tinsley, I seem to recall, clamp the left and right cable runs together about 8" back from the hand brake lever, Job done.

It'll even hold the car on a hill!!

Obviosuly make sure it's clear of anythign else and can't jam, did mine a few years ago I mustard mitt so memory bit vague but use two clamps, they coem in packs of 4 I think.

I borrowed one years ago & remember that the gear shift had a shorter throw than my Beetle that I'd just fitted a short shift kit to.

Felt like it was moving about a quarter of an inch forward & back.

Aren't there like, hue & saturation controls on the dash to mellow the yellow a bit?
