Look at these gorgeous Vauxhall Cresta PA tail lamps. The indicators are in the fin tips! They really suit the car.

 

But they were probably a lot more expensive than this horrible piece of shit which replaced them in 1960.

As it happens, I quite like Lexus lights on a Lexus. It was the fact that it spawned a whole range of crap copycat lamps for everything else on the roads that became tiresome.

For me, it has to be 4x4's / soft roaders which have lights where they should be, but have been disconnected/blanked out and moved down into diddy little basic clusters in the bumpers. I know why it's been done, but why are they so ugly?

 

How about the revised Maserati 3200 GT clusters? Replacing the boomerang jobbies with these has to be up there with one of the worst restyles in a car of this calibre.

 

I never liked the lights on this generation of BMW 3 Series (whatever 'E'-nonsense this is). Very cheap looking.

 

Not on a car, but I loathe these generic clusters you find on commercial vehicles - usually Transit Dropsides. Very old fashioned and most seem to be very dull when lit by todays standards.
