  1. Is it? They converted the hubs from 5 stud Toyota to a 4 stud Ford pcd.
  2. I'd like number 108. Toyota Corolla coupe.😎
  3. My current car was the most expensive I ever paid for one. €11,700!! The car in question was a then 3 year old 2008 Ford Mondeo zetec estate,2.0 diesel. Sold my 2001 Celica for 2,700,so the Mondeo was then costing me €9k. Ten years later I still own it.
  4. To be fair,I wouldn't fancy trying to tackle those rusty fixings either😂 At least the cunts didn't get it.
  5. Fuel shortages? Great, just as I'm driving to the UK for two weeks. 🙄
  6. Some nice bits in there, That caravan still has it's tow hook intact, the regular wheels Ford Prefect isn't that common either.
  7. Is that silver pick up a Husky? Unusual repaint on that Dragon Wheels too. Nice haul.
  8. Is that whole tub full of VW shaped diecast?? Never seen one of those early green Matchbox transporters with the doors intact yet!
  9. It's different too,I'm not really into errors but it's an interesting find nonetheless.
  10. Picked this up today, was about to rip it open when I spotted something. Anybody else see it?
  11. FD VX4/90 is a 2.0,or at least should be,a 2.3 is a simple bolt in job though. If it is a 2.3 it would have the letters "EL" cast into the right side of the engine block, and 1800 is an "S". No idea what the 1.6 or 2.0 has cast there though.
  12. Having owned several Viva's and FE's I can't say I agree with that. I always found them perfectly fine, certainly no worse or better than anything else from the era.
  13. This is nearly ready to go back on the road,a very early 4th generation Prelude. One of the first 300 built, launched in Japan on the 19th of September 1991,this one was registered on the 30th of the same month. 2.2 vtec, manual. Unusual in the fact it's only 2 wheel steer, and no ABS,which was standard on the European market Vtec Prelude, but it's probably a better car for not having those in reliability terms. Original and unmodified. Not mint by any standard, but a nice tidy example of a car that were mostly badly modified and thrashed to death, looking forward to using it again. I've owned this since 2002.

    Stop smoke

Maybe the crankcase breather is blocked, that can cause excessive oil consumption on a Zetec engine.
  15. Found the car to suit the key at yesterday's boot sale. If anyone out there would like this pair as a trade for something let me know.
  16. Sorry dude, but I don't like the 3 speed auto, mine leaks and is clunky, plus I have a 2.0 type 9 cluttering up the shed. I think the taller gears combined with the Auto rear axle should make motorway driving less of a chore. I will miss the chrome T bar gear lever though, that is a fantastic piece of design, very ergonomic too. I don't live in the UK either.
  17. Mine is only a lowly 2L,but the auto is being jettisoned in favor of a 5 speed manual. Still a Ghia mind😎
  18. Oh my!!!! That is gorgeous,I really must get my finger out and make a start on mine.
  19. Now that's a proper car! Well bought. Probably one of the best looking cars of its era.
  20. Bit of inspiration for you, This guy's skills are insane.
  21. Dropped in on Smoll Eddy to collect my latest wheel swap victim. There he was proudly filling his latest acquisition up with premium. "You like it then M8?" I do Smoll Eddy. "That's good seeing as you've paid for it M8" 🤣 This is what I dropped off, a battered Dodge dragster with bent axles and a broken grille. This is what I collected. Still battered, but with new wheels and a repaired grille. "Who doesn't love slot mags M8"
  22. Picked up this early '70s Matchbox 24 carry case a few weeks back at a boot sale,it was full of extremely battered regular wheels cars, but the seller was happy to sell the case on its own. "Time to fill it with age related diecast chod M8" Picked out a selection of tidy early 70s cars to fill it with. Really pleased with this one.
  23. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/174920973439?_trkparms=amclksrc%3DITM%26aid%3D1110006%26algo%3DHOMESPLICE.SIM%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20200818143132%26meid%3Dd6a45014e5fc40dcb4f3b3b8bfa8429e%26pid%3D101198%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D2%26sd%3D124871685656%26itm%3D174920973439%26pmt%3D0%26noa%3D1%26pg%3D2047675%26algv%3DDefaultOrganicWeb&_trksid=p2047675.c101198.m1985 Oh my!! What a handsome old beast.
