    Tractorshite

This time of year means it's the local carnival in Fleet where County Tractors used to be made.A new one this year was this replica of the Sea Horse which crossed the English Channel in 1963
  4. Something arrived yesterday which I've been after for a while,a purple Corgi Capri Ok,it's not exactly mint,& it's a Junior rather than a Rocket, but I'm still pleased to have it.I spotted it at the back of a lot of Juniors & got it at the top of my budget. It does mean that I've got a load more cars which I don't need,so these will be added to my diecast sales thread
  5. Looking through some boxes yesterday,& I found this Majorette Jeep Cherokee. It's the only raised one I've seen with a daag in the back 😎
  6. I've started a new thread to sell some models.First up are some modern-ish Majorettes https://autoshite.com/topic/54528-155v6s-haphazard-diecast-sales/?do=getNewComment
  7. I'd probably sell the carded one to be honest.I've got quite a few Yatmings, all loose,so the carded one doesn't really fit in.Meanwhile,I found another variant
  8. Not sure where that lot are yet,but I did find a carded version of that Seville while I was looking for something else
  9. A few finds from 6 car boots & a load of charity shops Siku Pimlico Plumbers VW Transporters Apparently, there are 13 variations of these, all with different number plates.I only need 1,so the other one will be up for grabs Matchbox VW Van & Vauxhall Cavalier Cavalier was in a tray of cars in a charity shop, most of them were quite new & some were cheap Chinese stuff, but they all had the dreaded paper tags. They had all been reduced from £2.50 to £1.00 though Elmo's car is a Matchbox/Tyco which I hadn't seen before.Corgi Rockets are one thing I very rarely leave, even if they're completely wrecked That was all I found in over a week, except for a Britains motorcycle which has completely disappeared 🙁
  10. The Golf can go,the Sierra & van are staying as I really like them. The black Torino is,I think,a Chevy Chevelle, that can go as well as the 51 Chevy.
  11. I think I've still got nearly all of them. There may well be a sale coming up,so let me know if there's anything there you fancy
  12. I've got this beaten up estate version of the Moskvitch
  13. A guy in the town where I live has got a real RZ Spider in yellow,he's had it since since the early 2000s but it's been off the road for a few years now
  14. I had a few odd bits of track around the same time, was never really that bothered with them though.More recently,I've really got into the cars,if only I could find a purple Capri for a reasonable price 😁
  15. A box arrived from France in the week I'd been waiting for this for a while,& wasn't disappointed. It's the Ford Racing Puma in 1/18 Scale by Otto I wouldn't normally spend this much on a model car,I don't really have the space for 1/18 scale either.I made an exception as it's a version of a car I actually own Plenty of nice details on this Interior is nice too Only issue I had was the top of the aerial came off when I took it out of the box.I thought it was broken, but looking on a Facebook group,it turns out that this is fairly common. The aerial is in two parts,& the top can come detached. If you use a magnifying glass you can see a tiny hole in the base & hopefully glue it back in 🤞
  16. To get the Alfasud apart, you been to stick something thin but strong into the the hole in front of the front axle.Push it towards the front of the car,& the grille will pop out,the grille holds the car together.I've just done the same on the Dinky BMW 530 which I posted earlier, this is an ex Polistil casting & is held together the same way. Edit: I was feeling pleased with myself,so tried to take apart the Peugeot 504 which I got a few weeks back This didn't go so well,I managed to break the tabs from the back of the grille,so the grille came out,but the car still wouldn't come apart I managed to push the broken bits back inside the car,the problem was the Peugeot has seperate bumpers which need to come out as welll,.It came apart in the end though 😁
  17. I visited a different car boot today, didn't buy a lot but pleased with what I found Dinky XJ Coupe, stickers are tatty, does anyone do replacements? Otherwise,it's not bad apart from missing a front spoiler cornerI had one from new, most of it went to someone on here a while back but the spoiler is still here on this Transit where it's been for at least 40 yearsDecisions,decisions..... DInky BMW 530,this was another one I bought new from a local market after Dinky went bust.I took it apart to respray & stripped it,but lost the grille so pleased to have a complete one again Matchbox Escort Cosworth Granada Mk2,this has Edocar on the base,so is much, much rarer than the common Maisto or MC Toy versions 😂
  18. There's at least one base/interior colour variant on the Alitalia Capri
