jonny69 Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 I spotted this on the motorway the other week; a 'luxury' coach for hire, covered in scabs and smoking like Dot Cotton. Lets have a closer look: Weeping sores round the side windows and rear arch - check! Crispy looking tailgate with worst of holes carefully disguised with unpainted podge - check! But wait, what's this? Shiny letter-shaped marks in the paintwork under the decals? Looks like it was recently palmed of in Milton Keynes and someone has now put their own branding on it. So it might legitimately be in use. Legendary! Imagine that turning up for all your family on your wedding day
Skizzer Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 Nice! I interpret those icon stickers on the back, left to right, as meaning:[*:1sksc8jk]Draughty[*:1sksc8jk]Broken seat back brackets[*:1sksc8jk](illegible - maybe smell-related?)[*:1sksc8jk]As seen on Crimewatch[*:1sksc8jk]Strap yourself in, it's going to be a bumpy ride
jonny69 Posted October 27, 2011 Author Posted October 27, 2011 Hahaha I'll try and do a close-up of those signs on the back!
Futuramic Posted October 27, 2011 Posted October 27, 2011 Notice the only telephone number provided is a mobile. Classy, sign of a reputable business that. All calls terminate in a caravan somewhere near Crays Hill, probably. Anyway; is it an Iveco Daily? A great chassis if ever there was one. And what's with the car ferry ro-ro door on the back? It almost looks like a cheapo racing car transporter rig that's been re-converted to a "luxury" coach. If Autoshite did weddings....
jonny69 Posted July 17, 2012 Author Posted July 17, 2012 Well thanks for bumping my thread, henninjak. I'd love to hire this type of bus off you and relive my childhood school days, choking to death in the back of a rusted out Mk1 Transit minibus, somewhere in the Alps, with the back doors tied closed with blue rope. What a novel business idea you have there, you spamming piece of shit.
quicksilver Posted July 17, 2012 Posted July 17, 2012 LOL @ jonny69 but the spam bump at least means I got to see this thread for the first time. I'm quite shocked by the state of this thing now, it did indeed belong to a firm in Milton Keynes but tney looked after it well and it always looked smart whenever I saw it around. Not sure who owns it now and they're obviously too embarassed to put their name on it.
