I saw one of those with a Luxembourg plate on the Konigsallee in Dusseldorf (outside what used to be C&A ironically enough) in about 1988. A really nice thing and I suspect it was the very same car despite the Spanish plate in those photos.

I imagine the lack of Lev. Omk put a lot of prospective buyers off, hence why they're so rare today. Gitter Og Moms must've been a rare standard feature for a panel van at that time though?

With a little help from Mr Google, apparently Gitter means lattice, something no van should be without :D Moms is VAT and Lev. Omk. seems to be an abbreviation for whatever delivery cost is in Danish. Even with a lattice included, a rear-engined panel van seems a bit of a stupid idea to me anyway.

Just as well those VAG wankstains don't carry any cargo in the cargo area, preferring to carry their surfboards and wheelbarrows outside on the rusty roofrack...
