Grab a stool, don't piss in the plant pots, find more obscure old tat. Wilkommen.

Any way of telling if that tagora is a V6 SX?

Good to see the Violet! DVLA says last taxed in 1993.

Fascinating house, when was it last lived in? Love to know the story behind it.

Great stuff, cheers.

I guessing some old fella who collected cars and lived like a hermit. Wonder if anyone has inheirited the place.

There was a chap I used to work with who filled his house with old stuff like radios and tvs from the 60s. He was probably the tightest bloke I have ever met, never spent any money, still rode a bike he had had since childhood. Owned a Reliant Kitten and a HA Viva van.

It is definately a 2.6 SX.

If you look at the large version of the photo there is a 2.6 badge on the front wing. I am pretty sure the 2.6 litre V6 cars only came in the SX model. Those alloy wheels were standard on the SX, though of course they could have been swapped.

That place looks so tempting that I am almost contemplating working with the DeViL to find where it is.

Old Basing?! Wow, another local shiter, this wouldn't be somewhere near Basingstoke would it? Anyway, excellent first post, reminds me of all the old cars dumped at my uncles farm nigh on 20 years ago...

WOWZ if its a 2.6 the triple-carb set up off it is worth a hefty sum

 and creepy at the same time. There was a big old house near where I used to live, and me and a mate went into it on the way home from a night on the lash. It was weird - 1970s newspapers, a few kids toys, plates on the table. It was almost as if a family just went out shopping or something and never came back.

Epic first post, Sir.

Not to denigrate blakey, but all he did was post a link to someone else's work.

I would like to have a look at this place, hopefully before the inevitable happens.

Agreed its definately an SX..in addition to the TRX metric alloys - appearance wise the sx also had stainless finishers on top of the bumpers which this has..and also that most deluxe of measures for 1981 Rear headrests!!

Some of the bits might be saveable off that. Where is this place? I'd go up in the dead of night with a tool-kit and torch........

I'd love to know where it is too, just to see the Tagora close up :D
