wackywacerwill Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 Thought I'd start a spots thread as I seem to find myself snapping shite fairly regular and thought some may be of interest round these parts. dollywobbler Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 That CX is very odd. Apparently he built it to carry his kite-surfing kit, and it has no hood!

CreepingJesus Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 I think the chrome wing mirrors ruin the look of that SD1. I'd have the old VX in a heartbeat, tho'; just as it is. Good spots!

Agreed on the mirrors, though once you start along those lines I guess it's hard to stop. VX is great, spotted it in a pub car park one sunday in kent. Have another pic for good measure. shite_meister Posted April 27, 2011 Posted April 27, 2011 Some nice spots there, I'm lovin the CX pics 'tis like ladies of large appendedages i.e breasts pour moi, now as a bloke who's central shite-system is based on all things Rover SD1 I'd say that is a classic example of how to fuck an old car up properly, there's just so much wrong about it I don't even know where to start...apart from what appears to be the Renault 19 16v badge, all Rover V8s were obvioiusly 16v 'tis like boasting that your Renner 5 is 8v. The rest of it is just a bit OTT for my liking but fuck it if the owner likes it then who am I to comment?
Richard Posted April 27, 2011 Posted April 27, 2011 Classy resto zep I beleive, or is it a zod? Single headlights mean it's a Zephyr.

wackywacerwill Posted August 13, 2011 Author Posted August 13, 2011 That A-team Van actually looks like a decent replica..?? I'd roll it. I like the dirty sanchez take on it; Sooty van painted up as the Bteam Just back from a break in Welsh Wales and thought I'd share some holiday snaps. Acclaim going back to nature Something else hiding behind, couldn't be arsed to get out the car and see what it was. Anyone? This yard round the back of the chipper was full of quality tat A body shop over the way had this lot going on. Mgb looked fairly clean One behind the golf didn't Autoshitetastic camper in Aberystwyth From where we took the mountain road to Ryder and spotted this Renner And then A44'd it back to Oxford spotting this pair in the Costwolds Great road back from Wales the 44, plenty of nice pubs, cafes, places to visit and things to see such as this Italian specialist place opposite one watering hole. This alfa is what lured me away from my pint. And the roofs of these which deserved inspection. Other than that it was mostly moderns out front so I had a look round the back. These were lying dead in droves as you might expect. Plenty of other stuff too Had to be one of these too Nice, nice and bland. More dead Itailian tat Last though not least, the beast.
mouseflakes Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 Amazing amount of old tat kept round back of one place or another. The two old Fiats are splendid. Going back up the thread a bit - the Mk1 R5 on the camp site is ace.
mk2_craig Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 Plenty of other stuff too Blimey a Lancia Dedra, not seen one of those in a while. The red thing looks a bit too modern to be that overgrown; a Fiat Marea maybe?
kinkersaab Posted August 13, 2011 Posted August 13, 2011 The red thing is a 156. Rear doorhandles and wing lines near bottom of windsceen are the giveaway.
wackywacerwill Posted May 7, 2012 Author Posted May 7, 2012 Well, it took me an age to find this thread and with the quality of pics it's questionable if it was worth the bother but here goes. What you can't see in this shite pic is the JDM YO stickerage, Mugen powered one was my fave. Driver clearly loves it Followed this rotten mini for a bit on the way in to work, quite a laugh watching the driver bouncing around inside the thing This was ACE, you'll have to take my word for that mind as the pic is poor Bonus scrappy 405, crawled in the oil and glass to find this had all the same broken bits as the one I was trying to fix Poor show chaps, must try harder.
e287yba Posted May 7, 2012 Posted May 7, 2012 ... Followed this rotten mini for a bit on the way in to work, quite a laugh watching the driver bouncing around inside the thing ... Now that is an underseal tidemark !
wackywacerwill Posted August 30, 2012 Author Posted August 30, 2012 A few more for your viewing pleasure chaps and chapettes Spotted this tidy Cortina on the way to pick up my 309 which as it happens is now back up for sale Nice faded Rover in the woods Big fat metal eater at the side of the road Tractor tat Sarf London looking More from the metal yard Spotted a great old ruski truck running a mini in the other day though the pic escapes me now
