STOLEN CREWCAB SPECLIFT

Recommended Posts

At approx 11pm last night thieves got away with Dave the Mk3 crewcab spec lift. Taken from outside MUTTLEY'S house they smacked into the back of Delilah the minibus whilst making their getaway. On the same night somebody also attempted to take Earnie the beavertail cargo butchering the steering column in the process. Muttley's understandably gutted.

A Mk5 crew cab pick up was seen cruising past Earnie, which then turned off it's lights and parked up, the occupants are not known.

Stolen from the Sutton area of South London.

A very sad turn of events, no point in offering false platitudes of "I'll keep an eye out", I won't as it will be in some gyspys yard by now. Hopefully they are well insured.

This however, is TRAGIC:

Dave

vehicle

MUTTLEY

person

Delilah

vehicle

Earnie

vehicle

Mind-boggling.

It's good to be alerted about STOLEN vehicles, but what about stolen ones?

RIP DAVE KING OV DA WAYBRIJ. NITE NITE SOLJA U WIL LIV ON IN R HARTS.

Sadly Fred it'll either be weighed in by now or re-painted/replated and driven round with a tank of cherry, no tax and 'Leylandii and scrap cars specialists' down the side of it.

Yes, sadly, and ironically, this stolen vehicle is destined to a life of helping to steal other vehicles.

Let's get this straight - Dave smacked Delilah and then legged it? What did Ernie do to stop this?

Good news the spec lift's been found! Not too much damage either, just a door lock and ignition lock! Seems he ran out of derv and they dumped him. He was on the street for 2 days, where another recovery driver noticed him (one of the lockers had been rifled through, and was left ajar) so called Muttley as his number was all over the truck. The bloke was a star, he wheel clamped the truck till we could get to him with Earnie the cargo. All's well now!

Yeah Daves been found!, I wonder if Mutley, Ernie and Delilah will be throwing a coming home party for him?.

That's great news! Kudos to the guy for helping out, too. Kind of restores one's faith in humanity.

In a similar vein, someone tried to hijack my best mate's Audi A6 on Sunday. Stupid bugger, as my mate is 6 foot 6 and 20 stone, aggressive and bloody strong. And he's a copper! One scrote straight to lockup, he's in court on Friday.

What's he called? The Audi I mean.

That's good news, glad there's a happy ending to this type of thing.

That's absolutely brilliant, and also pleasing that 'Dave' turned up again!
