Good Evening Gentlemen (and Ladies???)

I hope you are all doing well, I've not been far away just a bit overwhelmed with my 1000th post! News is I was a bit down following a break in at my Ghetto storage place where they hot wired my Lada Niva and rammed as much as they could including my XJ6, the Niva is still lodged in the wall and I think I can proudly say that the wall has come off worse! Anyway, missed you all, glad to be back and here's my new haul over the last couple of weeks, missing a few as I've not photographed them yet! Enjoy!

Swapped the Domino for this, a 2300, really nice car!

Sorry to hear about your break-in Torsten, sounds like the people who did this need to drive about in a Pug 307 as punishment.:twisted: That's a very nice Rover... :D:D

Wow the wanderer returns! Good to have you back. Did you lose your password?Did you have to clear out your old collection & start afresh? Sorry to hear about what happened. :x

Yo Regie! Don't fret, still got a pile of tat but calming down as having it wrecked wasn't in my plan, I'll just turn them around so's I can build up a bit of experience!

Hiya. Welcome back. That FSO has been a trial -but I've stuck with it and its nearly there- should be making an appearance soon.Looking forward to the news.Sorry about the Niva- pics would be good. Been thinking about one as a tow car.... waddya think?

I told you he wasn't dead...!That 2300 looks fapping ace, please sell it to me when you tire of it

I like a nice povo-spec SD1, I have this grand plan to get a nice, super-basic 2000 with non-metallic paint and steelies, chuck away the 2.0 O-series and fit a TDi from a Rover 200/400.

Hey Mister Bo**ox, it's about time you found a more distasteful signature pic. I've been trying to decipher it for yonks but the best I've come up with is "OFFICIAL WOMEN'S INSTITUTE TINT MY SAXO"

Bloody hell! Sorry to hear about the break in. Bastards  Anyway, liking the R12 Estate and Rover. Big time tasty!

Oi Oi Mr Welfare! I shall never tire of the Rover but I shall be disposing of it soon!

Good news about the Polski Mr B, what have you done with it? I reckon that is the last one in the country! The Niva is a bloody strong, great to drive too! Here's mine!

Sorry to hear about your break in, hope that everything is repairable! :(

Some kekkers broke into my garage the other day. They tried to nick my old (and completely knackered with various parts missing) mig welder and nick off in fatha_Bo11ox's Lancia. But, despite havign lights, electric and a full set of tools at their disposal, the hi-tech steering lock on it defeated em and they must have got disturbed because absolutely nothing was taken - even though all my garage gear, socket sets etc was spread about everywhere. That will teach me for having a cheapy chinese padlock, got a big punk a$$ one now like. Now we need a new steering column for the Beta though.

What a shame about all those break-ins... suX. Nice 12 Break!

I just really like the setting as well - "CIVILISED CAR" indeed! Those late steel wheel trims are THE SHIZZ.

If I did have it I promise not to send it to the breakers after getting exasperated with it, like I did with Ian's 820 (bloody M16 gearboxes, grr).

You just don't need it, do you? Sometimes you have to laugh at the incompetents though. Years back someone tried to nick my sister's shagged out Daihatsu Charade from the disreputable neighbourhood in Gunchester when she was then living. They managed to get in, but couldn't get the Krooklok-type device off. I can only guess that they were disturbed as they fled leaving their entire breaking and entering kit, namely a rusty screwdriver... and a candle :lol:Nice to have you back, Torsten!

In that case can we expect a Torsten1002, Torsten1003, Torsten1004, etc etc? (rather than a Torsten = 4000 posts which it would have been by then  )

Not one to spoil the surprise but I'd imagine it'd be Torsten2001, I can feel the tension mounting!

Don't you realise that you're doing yourself out of the thrill of 2000, 3000, 4000 posts etc which might be even greater? :shock:Speaking of which...... :D:wink::mrgreen:

That's just one of those totally pointless PITAs that drives me nuts (break-in, not the Beta steering lock). That said, I trust you missed a set of inverted commas around 'hi-tech' - pretty sure there's nothing special about a system which (gasp! shock!) immobilises the column minus a key in the ignition?

Well done Mr A, it really is a beautiful car! Fancy an Ital?

Don't tempt me! Do you fancy an FSO 125p pick-up 12cwt?

A shame those "Road Champs" nearly killed 4 of us sideways in brum last week.....
