Well my original question was more-or-less rhetorical, but since you raise the point: my body might be 51 but my head's 15, so I have no problem writing about teenagers. The novel does exist, I am actually writing it, and the three protagonists are as described. I'll find a way... (Autoshite romantic fiction, whatever next???)

I would like to finally drag the Allegro home after 4 years and get it on the road. Then once I've had a bit of fun in it, probably sell it and get something I really want.

Before that though there's lots of work around the house and garden, the Espace needs a bit of tinkering and then selling, Multipla with stripped cambelt needs sorting before sale etc.

Get A35 No.1 back on the road, No.2 sold and No.3's wing resprayed. I'd like to take this one to the A30/35 club rally in Dundee (a long way from Southend!) in May '11.

trust me, ghost porn must be the next best seller.

 

I work in publishing and I would say that writing novels is difficult - it'll be your second or third that is the first decent one. In the meantime, practice writing the aforementioned ghost porn and collect the cash, saving the real writing for the novel
