A chain saw was required to retrieve it, one branch had gone through the bottom corner of the engine access cover panel. Fortunately the floor pan stopped it from going any further, otherwise the car would have been crushed.

In the 1980s I used to go to the Mid-Kent Roadsters show at Detling and the Custom Car Show at Ally Pally. Did the Chelsea Cruise a couple of times as well before it became the Battersea Park Up.

They had gone bust years before and were part of the massed brit manufacturers that were, left joined in one group, i think it was under the NVT (NortonVilliersTriumph) banner at the time, but i cant remember for sure. They basically were the worst moped ever 🤣
