"Dad, I've brought your Jag back, it's a lovely driver. While you were away on holiday I found time to see to those little rust bubbles just starting to appear on the back wheelarches".

- "That's great son, best catch it early, let's go and have a look".

If only Mr Saunders had given Young Andy a clip round the ear and told him to stop fuckiing up cars ...post-17414-0-27214200-1524152202_thumb.jpeg

When he was 15 his father gave him his first car. He set about customising the vehicle with his Dad

That's practically the AS house livery.

More Mr Saunders.....I find the XJ6 and Escort entirely forgivable against these.

Mk2. Quick, get the tail-lights, probably something like £900 on ebay.

Long-slot Rostyles, like Jo's ShiteStang.

UK Cappa spec / option 1969 - 71. But used on Mk2s in some areas outwith the UK, especially US.

See also Mk3 Cortina GT & GXL 71 / 72. Don't know why Ford offered 2 different types of Rostyles at that time. There seems to be no method as to how they were allocated as far as I'm aware.

All replaced by the long-lived 'sports'-wheels by late 72.
