I would love to know exactly where that is. I assume it's going in to the old docks somewhere between Northam and Canute Road. Wherever it is it certainly looks nothing like that anymore.

I saw some rally Land Rovers run by the forces in the Jim Clark rally some years ago. They were torturing the tyres to hell but I never saw one corner like that.

That’s the one. As soon as I saw them ( I think there was one for the Army, Navy and RAF), I expected that to happen but they kept all the wheels on the ground but I’ve never seen the sidewalls on a tyre bend so much.
