Is it just me but is that road completely devoid of potholes? Supports my hypothesis that what causes them isn't just the weather, but a proliferation of heavy and powerful vehicles and endless utility work.

Where my mate lives , earlier this year they decided to re route the double decker bus along his street it's a narrow Victorian terraced street across a hill side, cars have to park half on pavement as no were else available, for others to get through. Which has never been a problem.

There's no bus stop in the few hundred yards of the streets length ,serves no benefit to residents (increase in noise/fumes/danger if anything).

Early this month road had to be resurfaced due to potholes appearing ( never been any before) the  edge on lower side is clearly suffering movement/subsidence  & after loads of near misses a bus ripped the bumper of a parked car last week.

The road was obviously never built to take the size/weight of  this type of vehicle.

Bus companies response nowt we can do about it.
