I’m sure I remember reading about these 2 door Consul Classic estate conversions, 2 built for the Kenyan police force. Correct me if I’m wrong as it was a long time ago I read the article in a classic car mag.

Ford Consul Classic Estate – Auto Motor Klassiek – magazine about vintage cars (amklassiek.nl)

An Estate, a station wagon version, has also been built from the Consul Classic. There was the then dealer Hughes Ltd. from Nairobi in Kenya, Africa for responsible. The trick was only repeated seventeen times. An 2-door Ford Consul Classic is used for this. One copy has been in Great Britain for a number of years. Extremely rare.

Coachbuilt in Nairobi: Super Rare 1961 Ford Consul Estate | Bring a Trailer

Quote

This 1961 Ford Consul (chassis 109E18717) is offered as one of 17 estates custom coachbuilt for police use in Nairobi, of which only three are known to remain. Twice restored, the seller suggests it could benefit from a third preservation effort, but the car looks quite complete and usable as-is, though the running condition of it’s non-original Kent 1500 isn’t mentioned

Like the Outspan Mini Oranges I like adverting vehicles like this,  others I've seen have been a beer bottle shaped van at the Bass museum & a Creme Egg car at Cadbury's World.

There were two of the cream eggs on a drive in Rotherham a few years ago.

There's a yolk in there somewhere...

Apparently the cream eggs were made using Bedford Rascal pickup chassis & running gear.
