Mates dad had an imp as a firms car (building site foreman) He used to keep a large bag of cement in the boot.He said the front end was too light and tended to lift when turning.

I went into his bad books when I thought he had "borrowed" the cement from work :-(

My Dad used to keep a large lump of concrete in the boot when he had Renault Dauphines & 8's  :-)

My mate used to keep two bags of cement in the rear foot wells of her Skoda 120 for similar reasons. I obviously moved them to the luggage area when I borrowed it...
