Father Ted Posted December 16, 2010 Posted December 16, 2010 Right now, BBC4 - Dirk Gently, a brown Austin Princess
Pete-M Posted December 17, 2010 Posted December 17, 2010 The dive when he braked made me grin like a wanking chimp. The Dirk Gently books are ace.
Richard Posted December 17, 2010 Posted December 17, 2010 It's years since I read them, did he only do two?
Father Ted Posted December 17, 2010 Author Posted December 17, 2010 Two and a half, he got about halfway through "The Salmon of Doubt" when he pegged it.
michiel Posted December 17, 2010 Posted December 17, 2010 Hope this makes it to the 'regular' BBC channels in the future, excellent books.

Shep Shepherd Posted December 22, 2010 Posted December 22, 2010 Just watched 'Dirk Gently' and thought it was great. I'm sure that a lot of the rust and body damage on the 'Austin Leyland Princess' was computer-generated, though, as in the flashback to 1994, the car looked a lot tidier
Lord Sterling Posted December 23, 2010 Posted December 23, 2010 I watched it again tonight and thought the reg was: VPF 384S Saw a bit of this today and the plate is definiately VPF 384G
