Over the last couple of days we ve been watching a youth high speed driving down our street in a Subaru Impreza Sti...yesterday we agreed he was an accident waiting to happen.Just now...he was barreling down the river side..went to overtake..came head on towards a 4WD..swerved hit the kerb and has barrel rolled into the river. Apparently their where children on board...the prognosis is grim.Ill find out later what fatalities have incurred.

That's bad news Rab, very sad if others were involved.There are bellends everywhere. Those in Subaru turbos give us (n/a) Impreza drivers a bad name.

One person is dead and two missing after a car crashed into the Whanganui River early this afternoon, St John's ambulance has confirmed.

 

The accident occurred off Anzac Parade, Wanganui East, at about 1.30pm, an ambulance spokeswoman said.

 

Ambulance and emergency services are currently at the scene.

 

We think just now that the youths got out and have bailed..leaving behind someone..but we l find out more later.It was a gang family car..Mongrel Mob...

Edit: news is not confirmed yet..but their saying it was a van thats ended up in the river..possibly a 3yr old as one of the dead..but the Subaru was definitely involved..

The river annually claims lives due to the road being directly parallel to it..im about to get the 6pm tv news so theyll have more..plus im going to photograph the skid marks..and take some flowers..

I timed my bike ride to the end of the street as the lowloader truck with an upside down drowned Impreza on it drove past me...hed definitely rolled it..all our predictions-witnesses were horribly corrrect...the east of the town is mourning..the streets are empty..the sweet smell of gardens and roast beef fill the air..silence apart the milk train line behind our fence..
