Agreed, his whole encounter with this lovely car has been a catalogue of mistakes. He should never have been allowed within 100 miles of it.

What was he expecting to find. It hardly looks like its "too much" if you were actually interested in saving it. Difficult to make head nor tail of the advert too. What is he talking about the second week in March for?

The man is clearly a fucking moron.

I have no idea what he's going on about, there seems to be very little chance of this being saved now though.

It's a real shame, it's a solid car, it's still MOTd til July FFS.

I wish I had got my arse into gear and saved it when I had the chance. :(

Here's a picture from when I went to see it:

There's more here, inc. the grotty bits:

I have half a mind to enquire about the engine on the basis the car is reaching an inevitable "end of life" but I'm really not sure I'd want to deal with the person that wrote those adverts.

Agreed, it would be a real shame to see that end up getting scrapped. Yes it needs welding, but it's hardly serious like I did on my Cambridge.

Please someone save it!

Seth: nobody should have to deal with him except professional carers and prison officers.

Gary: I think you're being generous calling him a moron.

I had one of these (in 1983/4), and I'd happily have another now. So sad to see it fall into the wrong hands.

Unfortunately, in the world of shite you sometimes have to deal with morons if you want their old snotters

Wasnt particularily interestedin the caqr- bit too ''English'' for me-but i'd have saved it,sorted it and passed it on.
