+1!

Haven't been for a while, but I'll probably go during the Xmas break.

Afterwards, the prospect of slap-up gastroenteritis at the burgervan is always a winner too, epsecially if the old woman's cat (I'll avoid using pussy) has been sitting on the food serving area. :D

I'd def. be up for another visit at some point - you have to make sure all the parts of the yard are open - the truck bit and the bike bit have shorter opening hours.

I wouldn't mind going either as I have never been. Car Transplants in Nantwich is a no go area nowadays due to this H and S bollox. You have to pre order or wait for an "engineer mechanic" to remove the part for you

To be fair that place has always been pretty shit.

I'd be up for a mooch round there as well. Still need to check out the R4 they have.

Count me in too please!

Transplants used to be pretty good, had a good go at there 'all you can carry for £30' day once and set the record for wheels and tyres.

When I went it was full of overpriced crap and the staff were pretty miserable and rude!

You could watch the baler in action though, that was pretty fun.

Not in the summer of 1991 it wasn't - there was a 1981 Renault 18 Turbo, a 1982 Renault 18 Turbo and a 1985 Renault 18 Turbo, all next to each other! As a Renault 18 owner at the time - although I still am, it was like car porn. The prices were good and the bits fitted a treat on my 18TS. There were about 5 more 18s there at the time, plus a very early R15 and loads of 14s. One Sunday (they used to open Sundays) they'd plonked two L reg Renault 5Ls in the yard, one orange and one yellow - how rare  They were pretty much ignored though as I scavenged the Turbos for trim and the like :D

Bumping this to say that Furbers have / are having a bit of a tidy-up due to environmental "hassles".... not sure how far the clear-up will be going but several of the trucks have now gone....

Some sort of surveillance wagon? Or maybe built by someone who loves motor boats but gets seasick. I wonder if you can steer it from the flying bridge.

Looks like a Dennis of some sort. But that's probably totally wrong!
