X2 Dead(ish) Vans

Well the Hi-ace is no nearer to being looked at, and I've gained a certain Green Renault Master.

It's a monster, not moved for about 12 months, but, will soon hopefully.

So my shite van quota is now two.

Anyone want to buy a camper..... I have a range...

Posted

Were you drunk when you bought that?

I have some petrol and a lighter if you need it.

Is it a proper camper conversion or a van with a mattress, or even better:

Nope, it's one of these...

It was kind of forced upon me..

I like those Masters, they have a real science fiction look about them. Great for Judge Dredd's camping holidays.

Winner!

I hope it's some ex-local authority type which smells of piss and biscuits and has badly fitted ex-council house curtains and a bucket to piss in?

Wow. That is wonderfully horrid. It looks like they got the YTS kid to design it on a Friday afternoon whilst everyone else went to the pub.

Will be quite big inside I guess. Where are you keeping it?

Not far off, Ex WYMAS biddy-bulance, Already kitted out, but damp has got in at one rear corner.

Was bought by some friends from a chap on here, but not really used, so rather than see it fragged they passed it on to me.

Those Masters/Trafics looked shite when new and improve daily, they look quite under-wheeled and awkward (big body and the small wheels at each corner), kind of like a fat sausage dog or something.

Yes I want it.

No I probably don't have the dosh.

Yes I'd like to try.

What's the dillio Mr Volks?

I could proper use one of those.......

Trade in for sexy Maz with T&T?

In fact, if I can't manage to procure it, Nikki might want it - she's after a van/camper as well....

Was it owned by 'GreenVanMan' of this parish?

I saw what I believe to be a 4WD one of these in the week, went past where I work, looked tall with knobblies on............

It indeed was, some friends of mine bought it from him, but never used it as much as they hoped. It then developed a running fault, which meant that it languished unused for the best part of a year. Gonna stick it in for a test, to see how it does.

Does anyone know of anyone breaking one of these? As it defo needs a front screen at least.

This made me do some involuntary groffling.

I usd to deliver washing machines in a hi-top Trafic. All well and good until you tried to move the thing - it had a 1.4 litre engine. That plus 6 or 7 washing machines = clutch life fail.

Had a very similar (diesel) version a few years back.

Absolutely brilliant house moving/tat hauler van-that helped me build 2 houses before I melted it on the M25.

Highly recommended- if you want to haul large loads but dont want to get there quick
