Took me a while to figure out what it was, the hubcaps did it,,,,then I saw what was written on the side!

Lovin' that! Seems a very Eighties-type conversion. Seem to recall having a girlfriend who's dad owned a Mk1 Cortina with fins like that...

Wouldn't give that a second glance. OK, I can appreciate that someone has put some effort into creating 'it' but it just has no appeal for me whatsoever. Another mans meat blah blah......!!

It's a Ford Mustang! I know it doesn't look much like the one in Bullitt but trust me. This series, known as the "Fox body" was introduced in 1979 and was available as a hatch or notchback (which is what we have here) and later a convertible too. It was also badged Mercury Capri. The basic shape ran all the way through the 80s and was rather popular as a Highway Patrol Interceptor in 5.0GT form.

How to steal all the attention from somebody's lovingly-crafted work-of-art!
