Following on from the post re the mini clubman with black plastic racing mirrors on eBay thread.

Here they are again along with some other 70stastic stuff I have.

I picked up one of these about a year ago.

I thinks it for a Metro or similar BL era cars that I don’t own!

Its not for anything as it stands. That's the base kit. There's then a model-specific fitting kit for each vehicle in the range. That's not to mean it isn't useful. Someone out there with the car kit might bite your hand off for it.

You are correct.

 From some research I did at the time, the base kit is missing some switches, an on/off switch and a momentary switch to set, accelerate / decelerate . 

I bought generic ones which looked quite close to the one I saw in a uni part brochure  and then did precisely nothing with it after that, as my initial interest was in fitting this to my diesel Frontera, not realising it takes its speed from the ignition coil pre-purchase.

I’d let it go, it just sitting in the loft now, better that it used by an enthusiast on an appropriate car
