Budget friendly camper ideas

Need ideas for a budget friendly camper. I've got a cat c license so that expands my options. Had been looking at 7.5 tonners. Don't want anything to modern. Something that is agricultural. Plan is to live out of it full time.

Are you thinking about a large van like a LDV Convoy or a truck with a cabin on the back or a bus?

I'm scared to think what that's been used for, looks like something out of a 'Taken' film.

Probably all it needs is a Live, Laugh, Love sign to brighten it up.

Yeah, I'm really curious what the backstory is on it. And why the beds in the back.s-l1600.webp

To convert yourself or one ready to go?

Over 3500 do tend to be cheaper, but be careful with breakdown recovery service on something at 7.5 ton.

VW Crafter, Luton. Under 3.5, recent  cam belt. Don't think it's for sale just yet but I'll ask.

A friend of mine converted an ex-Sainsburys Sprinter delivery van. He lives in it full time.

Only issue is he's very close to the maximum payload now it's all kitted out. But they are already insulated and quite secure. Without the livery it just looks like a chiller van, so quite stealthy also.
