Wow, it's like a computer game and accountancy program all rolled into one!

haha! What an awesome game! This is my favourite on the spectrum though - you wander around a yuppie's party looking for ways to ruin it.

I had that on a demo tape (think it was Your Sinclair) from about 1990/91-ish. The 'rents weren't too happy at a 6-year old shouting out the title of the game in front of them. I think mum actually shoved soap in my mouth for saying it. Urgh!

Best game of the day:

Run over pedestrians, shoot other cars, traffic lights, fuel up at petrol stations. Like GTA only 15 years before.

Excellent! I shall be having a longer go at that later.

This has made me look up this topic again.....

New Wheels John

someone really needs to re-make something like this, preferably with pictures of the motors... I think i'm gonna download an emulator and play it tonight

You can play NWJ? without an enulator.

Bloody hell! I missed that thread first time round *Rushes off to download NWJ*

Bloody unions! I ran the place Thatcher-style and eventually went under.

I also kept on being taken down by unions calling a strike because they could have an extra 2mins to wash up or have tea breaks

Wasnt doing too badly later on, won 2 races and a load of wad, though had to leave the computer for dinner in the middle of the game :(

I got bored even setting up NWJ. I'm more of the SNES/original Game Boy generation but can't really think of any shite content. Until the mid 90's it was very rare to have any sort of licensed cars in a game. Maybe some of the original Gran Turismo cars qualify now?
