That’s what I was aiming for too. Still haven’t decided whether to park in the field for £5 or park in town and walk across. Queues for the field can be long and town might be cheaper, as I won’t be there all day.

How long does it take to walk from town to the venue?

10 minutes max. I’ve decided to park at the Malls car park, which is my usual for going to town. Cheaper than the field and no queues:

Yep, got it mate. The auto jumble hasn’t been as good the last couple of years but I look forward to seeing what’s there.

Well I’ve had a great time with @Peter C today, so much better going to a car show with another car guy. I’m not normally there more than an hour but we were there about 4, which meant my thoughts that parking in town would be less than the £5 field charge was wrong, sorry Peter.

Peter took some photos which he’ll share at some point and he got a shot of me with my car using my phone and I took one of him with his gorgeous Mercedes. Me first:

Everything that @Wibble said is correct, we had a great time.

We met this guy who told us about his adventures in the States, made me feel very jealous.

I will post one or two (maybe more) MGB GT related photos on my MGB thread later.

This was the star of the show, a Plymouth Fury American police car. 

So cool!!!

This was a close second, a Lincoln Continental that was about 6m long.

And we had ice cream. Perfect day out.

Lincoln Continental is absolutely gorgeous. Looks like the same colour as my Mercury too. Same car underneath of course. Go big or go home era!
