I see that Vectra(?) on a semi-regular basis... the paint job reminds me of something from 'Readers cars' in Street Machine magazine circa 1979.

That's not a Vectra. It's not even an Astra, though it once was.

An understandable mistake, given the encrustation of crap.

Think of all the Autoshite they could have bought instead of paying for all that to be done to their car. Tsk!

The cost of the 'Lexus lights' at the rear alone could probably have bagged a decent Volvo 343, with change.

No matter how many times I see that Astra I still ROFL.

The owner once showed up on a Vauxhall forum to show off his 'pride and joy' and we had endless hours of fun ripping the piss out out of him. In the end he left after various threats* were made in our direction.

*Which just made matters worse for him in the piss taking stakes.

Wow!, I wish i had your luck when it comes down to spotting cars!, I can't say I've ever seen a Monte Carlo just parked randomly in a car park.

And that Astra is a right POS, I'd sooner slam my own knob in a metal door then be seen in that heap.

There's alot to like in that bunch :D Bond has that family cherished look about it.

Driveway Somerset is wonderfully grotty.

my old man had one of these, in light metallic blue, he wanted a cab so cut the roof off it, due to bad planning the boot came with it, we towed it to the breakers with an old Audi 80 (this was late 80's) sadly the box blue on it just a few miles from the breakers, so out came the battery, imagine the looks of a Equipe with no bonnet, roof, boot, doors, half of the interior missing, towing in a mint Audi

Equipe GT4S pictures saved for fapping over at a later date.

Mon'y Ca'lo is nice too!

VWP - I hope your dad was ashamed with himself! Chopping up an Equipe = bad vibes

funny enough he kept the bonnet for years and years and years and sold it for more than he paid for the car :?

im sure he ashamed, like the day he stacked a cresta like this but in battleship grey into the back of a copcar

I'd roll in that 3i ragtop. Looks quite tidy but it's probably on its sixth battery tray by now.

That's quite a rare-ish Manta, the GT/J. Think it was the most basic one. The passenger mirror wasn't a factory fitted part either.

Not a victim of plate rape despite the number plates being removed for one reason or another.

I once briefly thought it might be 'amusing' to get a Reliant 3-wheeler, but then realised they make mega-coin for what they are.

What's going on the with rear bumper on that Manta? Is that really how it would have left the factory?
