Take it it didn't need much? Or is that for Thursday to tell?

Brake pipe , the fuel pump it was initially dragged in for , coolant expansion tank and a hood service and lanoguard .
Hopefully be ok on the mot . Tyres will be advised but I want to make sure I like driving it and it’s ok before I put 4 decent tyres and a wheel refurb on it

@RoverFolkUs how’s the the MG ?

Just back on the road this week! Just the welding and headlining left to do, but it's on the road. Need to drop the coolant again and get some more antifreeze in there, it's currently running a weak mix of dishwasher tablets 😂

Yeh only 10 miles or so . Seems nice . Bit of a worrying rattle at idle and a noisy aux belt . Hoping it’s a noisy alternator not a timing chain . Will investigate this week at some point

Good stuff. Drive it's bollocks off and it'll get under your skin. Very tip of your toes driving experience.

I’m hoping a decent thermostat will help .
Gotta say so far it’s not as involving a drive as my old puma was .
