Buying an entire other car saves you having to pop that battery on a charger to see if it perks up at least 😂

Im sick of these 20" alloys now. Does anyone have any 17" or 18" for a d3 A8 i could buy?
Both front wheels are cracked now with previous repairs. Think i just want to cut losses and get some smaller alloys to improve the ride and reduce cracking!20260301_105633.jpg

Looks like i have found some. They look quite decent in the pictures, 19" so not much smaller but i think itll be enough to stop them from cracking so much with an extra half inch of side wall. £200 with two good tyres and im getting 2 part worn pirellis for 140 so all in should be under £400.Messenger_creation_77990263-9FF5-4A41-9279-750D79176E51.jpgMessenger_creation_7FB6E1A6-675E-4AD0-97CA-5F1648221959.jpgMessenger_creation_0F92FAEB-60C6-4144-B6FB-E377700D28BE.jpgMessenger_creation_9D86176F-0828-46A7-8FF7-93FD401EB75C.jpgMessenger_creation_EDB2A9B9-C47D-4A8F-8A38-D32EA1A4EF8E.jpgScreenshot_20260302_102920_eBay.jpg

My spare wheel is one of them, presume they all were originally.  The ones on the car are 18's, so I don't think the car will like the differing sizes if I ever have to use it!

I think the actual diameter of the wheel could be very similar. If you want to swap i have an 18" spare though!

As you say, there's maybe not much in it.  If you were just around the corner maybe!

Ive just driven it for the first time on 19"s and the difference is honestly incredible. Very chuffed.

Just sold my old alloys for £150. So new alloys cost me £50 + tyres. Seems a good result, i was expecting to have those shagged alloys knocking around for ages and it was gone in a day.
