New to these parts so i'll begin by saying hello. :)

Well my working day(luckily involves no alcohol, ebay & drink doesn't mix!! ) & usually consists of me perusing through various car forums, auto trader, ebay etc etc looking out for shite that I can generally loose money on & get lumbered with & looking through some of the threads on here I think I might just fit in nicely.

Anyway I thought I'd start off my contributions with a thread of a few shitters spotted for sale on carandclassic a haven of true automotive shite, I've picked out a few that look budget/pocket friendly for your viewing pleasure. Feel free to discuss/add to/criticise my selection & let me know if there not quite shitty enough. Oh n I gave the Renault section a WIDE berth, didn't want to overkill the thread with French crap straight away. So, first up we have.......

I do like them actually 150bhp tp play around with. I ran an Alfa 164 as a track car which shares the same chassis & that was fun to drive when it ran :x

No T&T, base model BX for a 'mere' £300? Ha ha ha haaaa! That's quite amusing seeing as I paid less for mine with T&T! (though I may have spent rather more than that on it since...)

2 owners & only 80000, not tempted? I think most of the above would need "a little" spending on them to be fair.

Just out of interest dollywobbler do they get much attention off of the ladies?

All that lot is too expensive!

That belongs to a Mash - He has more for sale, see his thread here

Not sure a BX attracts the ladies. My wife certainly isn't over keen on them.

My goodness! I love that Sunny! Bet the engine would be easy peasy to fix too.

Suit me better than a Porsche, too.

Yeah but its a Leader.... In White... Without the black window surrounds... Its lush. You WOULD be beating them off with a stick - FACT.

Agree £300 is too much and if this is the same one that was F/s in Cornwall a while back needs much welding.

Me too, that is a lush looking car, too bad it's so far away from me, I'm sure I could have talked it round SWMBO as the 'cheap runner' I'm in search of at the moment (unless my Matiz finds it's way back onto the road beforehand) ...

That Croma is the cat's nipples..... I'd have happily bought something like that to do the work run in style. Wonder how hard getting parts for them is, it's not like my Golf where scrapyards creak at the joints with them.

That 626 looks nice, does it come with a free cynical outlook on life and a job in the public sector?

Posted

Nah, you're buying it off Vic, so you just get the opportunity to look a bit like Rick Astley and be obsessed with Wizadora.

I agree. Deffo one sexy piece of ass.

As for spares, I'm pretty sure that my dad still has loads of service bits in his garage from the one he had 20 year ago.
