I'm sure it does - if you jam it under the throttle pedal.

It appears to be a capacitor? To smooth out alternator output (which should be pretty flat anyway), but you connect it over the battery instead. I've yet to see an AC battery :)

It beats putting a resistor on the oxygen sensor to improve power, anyway!

Ive read some shit in my time but that takes the biscuit , I rebuild alternators ae part of my job , best i scrap all the inbuilt regulators and fit this instead

Thats Excellent.. thank you! Read past the ridiculous claims and into the impossible explaination and useless diagrams. this one is 100% pure shine.

this one particularly, which claims

THEORY

Because of many reasons, a standard engine never combusts the fuel completely. Magic Booster solves this problem by improving the ignition (gas, lp) and fuel injection (diesel). The alternator doesn't generate steady electricity (see the white line in the diagram). Also, the other electric appliances inside the car share electricity at the same time. Therefore the fuel cannot be completely combusted due to unstable ignition spark(gas, lpg) or fuel injection (diesel). Because Magic Booster covers the gaps between the crests while it detects the weakness of electricity (see the purple line in the diagram), resulting in steady & complete combustion that helps to make your engine run smoother and save the mileage.

but is obviously a screenshot of an audio sample ::)

ps, even if their electric theory held water, how come it's supposed to work on mech pumped diesels then?

of course it works, its from Japan

everything from Japan is far superior to things from other countries (dont use the term jap thats offensive)

the advert doesnt really explain the full facts, so i have edited them into bullet form to make it easier for all non-japanese people to understand (Japanese people are also far superior to other peoples of the world)

1. In order for this to work properly it must be installed on a Japanese car, left in a Bristol garage for 18 months while you decide what wheels to put on it and import some 115/27/12 tyres

2. run around on a push bike in the meantime

3. waste your life writing several internet blogs that no-one reads

4. attempt to change the internet views of all races and cultures, ignore critisicm and wear a crown and robes your mummy made

EDIT: sorry about the previous statements i dipped into Mr. Logic mode for a bit there

No, of course it doesnt work, its japcrap

I'd like to crack one open just to see what was inside, reminds me of those magnets things that you clamp to the fuel pipes to increase MPG by 30%.

What's up, it may not work but fitting seems to be by the Autoshite Really Simple and Easy method

INSTALLATION

You will receive a magic booster (fused), 2 cable tie straps.

You can finish the installation in a few minutes.

Clean the poles by sand paper and connect the booster to the battery only.

(It is designed like a big electronic part).

Bloody women. You get them a nice dinner and in the end all they want is the fucking washing machine. Or a big bass speaker.

Bollocks. I got my missus a nice washing machine for her birthday and got my dinner in my face,

Had it been in the Hotpoint beforehand. I have tried this to appeal to her sense of cleanliness.

Trust me, it's a family sized cup of FAIL, all around. Especially for your bollocks.

LOL yeah now I look at that graph, it's clearly an audio signal (44.1KHz for a start!), plus the "after" is exactly the same as the "before" but lower amplitude, proper photoshop job :)

I bet if you crack one open there's a startled looking gerbil, a cast-iron mangle, and a packet of jaffa cakes. That's worth 42mpg, 50bhp and twelve cubic feet of, erm, stuff.

I predict that inside you would in fact find some of those magnet things that you clamp to the fuel pipes to increase MPG by 30%. Or some lead pellets.

People have been believing for a looong time ;)

Wow. NOW I'm impressed! Is that a vintage 'electronic part?

sure is... vintage shite ;) parts were smaller then, apparently... although if CC films are anything to go by, by the 70's they had got larger.

Hey this stuff works.

This is my bog standard 1200 Beetle after fitment, just popping to the shop for a pint of milk

Who buys this rubbish? They all seem to use the wording 'cleaner electrical flow', which is impossible really.
