I havent tried to sell a motor through the bay for a good few years, i have read loads on here about ebay mupets and thought nah it cant be that bad surelly well now ive seen it first hand, i listed the astra on evilbay last nite and it has now been on for 24 hours and i bet you cant guess how many questions that ive had about the car the shortest one so far which has to surelly enter the guiness book off records was much m8 oh and the answer to how many questions 47 thats nearly two an hour

I've only sold one car on eBay. There were two types of questions - "how much" and asking things which were clearly stated in the listing. But it sold without hassle.

I've sold probably 10 cars or so on Ebay....never had problems with any of them......Good photo's and a good description wards off a lot of mong questions, keep an eye on the bidders and remove any that don't fit the criteria of contacting you before bidding ( bad feedback etc.) and advertise on the listing that you've removed bids and why......bidders soon get the picture that you're serious about your listing and won't suffer twats gladly and I've never failed to sell a car on it's first listing.Works for me anyways..........

I've taken to advertising motors on Gumtree - it's free, and I find it's easier to tell if someone's a twat over the phone than by email. I did have a text today asking if I want to swap my Chinese moped thing for an Xbox 360 with five games - I have to say I'm almost tempted, seeing as I'm not desperate for cash at the moment and I've had bugger all other interest in the bike.
