Riding on the success of our stand at Cholmondeley, retrogeezer was asking me if I'd mind organising something similar for Capesthorne Hall. It runs between May 30 (Sunday) and May 31 (Bank Holiday Monday).Due to the unique way in which our rotas are composed I don't think I can do either day. I am however more than happy to send tickets out. If people can come to an agreement on which day they'd like to do, I'll phone Mr. Greenwood up. The tickets for classic car owners (pre 1995) are £3 each, but we have to get in 9 days before the event is due to kick off.The 30th is a Classic Car Show and a Jaguar Day, and the BHM incorporates American Cars as well. So it's up to you chaps. Vote above. I've more chance of getting BHM off as there's no way in hell work will give me a Sunday off if I'm rota'd in.

No-can-do on either for me, unfortunately. Sporty holiday begins this Saturday, and we're only back the following Sunday. Monday will be out, cos I'll probably be a bit knackered from the drive home.

I don't mind divvying the tickets out again chaps - but please bear in mind that my glorious employer - who I am not discussing again for as long as I can - does not recognise Bank Holidays as a day off per se. Unless you're a lying sack of shit with a data entry job. Then you can have them all and a giftwrapped Mars bar to shove into your suppurating jowly visage.

Yeh, it's a very similar show to Chumley (Cholmondely!) but there were quite a few different motors there last year to the chumley show. It's another nice location too (as long as the weather is o.k!)
