Both red Minis are scrappage. The first one is still in the yard, they are planning to break it although may have a buyer for the engine/running gear. The red Escort is still for sale - £400. The yard owner is on here, PM kirbybreakers for info.

Are those the original reg numbers on the Micras? Chances of finding consecutive plates together on old cars in modern yard must be bloody slim?

Yeah, the Micras were apparantly scrappaged together for two new cars, must have been "his and hers"

I'll probably pop down there sometime on Saturday, as I now have a W123 Merc, and I fancy pillaging the one in there for a few bits.

Hi pandamonium, I wonder if I could ask a favour of you if you are also taking some pictures whilst you're down there taking tools to various Mercedes'.

 

If it's not going to take long I wondered if you could snap a couple more pics of the yellow Capri that's in the yard? I'd like to know if it's got any decent areas under the bonnet or what parts are left on, as I've been told most parts are gone.

 

I suck at saying what bits I want. Indeed I've just sold a shell that i kind of needed a few panels off.

 

If the Capri isn't near the lovely Merc's then don't worry about it Have fun! I miss going round scrap yards.
