Hey ho what, Cavette has handed the organisational reins to sporty_shite and me to get things sorted this year.Sporty is cross posting this on Retro Rides and NSJC. What we need to know, and soon, is who wants to definitely go. When we have some numbers, we'll fire off some emails to Andrew Greenwood and get the cheque sent out. Tickets are something like £3, and it's a good day out if you ignore the insipid microphone twattery of the compere and the miserable bastard who sits on the gate.Maximum cars per stand is something like 15, and then separate stands after that. If we go over 15 then we might not have stands that are together. We're planning to meet up before the show at Lymm Services to give the tickets out, as the majority of people coming down will be passing through that way, and we can CONVOY down like a group of happy clapper bastards. If anyone from further afield wants to come, postal \ personal meeting arrangements can be sorted out.Any chance of one of the mods stickying this?Post away and confirm you're coming by PM. I'll also need your car make, model and registration.

I'll be there but I'm booked already. If you see me, come and have a chat - I'm by no means what people imagine. I'll be doing the same show later in the year as well - I do most of Greenwood's Cheshire/Staffs shows.

Failing that, the pic lets you know who to ignore... :)

Think I am ok for this but will let you know definately in the next day or two.

No problem mate, we'll just have a spare ticket.

Okay, just got confirmation from Mr. Greenwood. We have 20 exhibitor tickets. The cut off date for cars is pre 1995.This tickets entitle a car with two adults and two children admission on to the show field per car.We can be canny about this and spread the load of people who don't want to exhibit into the cars that are going on the show field. If we have two people per shite car, we're sorted. If the passenger gives the driver £1.50, we're laughing. We can have as few or as many stands as we like, apparently.

Just been discussing that with Jon, looks like a goer. Depending how I get up there I can certainly offer lifts to a couple of people. If I go on the scoot then I can't take anyone though.MM: If I either get a car or go in my lad's Astra I'll give you a shout and you can jump in with me if you like.

Would it be a good / bad idea, to have a list of who is willing to take a passenger ?

Good idea mate.Who wants to take a passenger? According to Cavette we can get as many in as we can fit in the car, so I'm good for three extra people. What we were thinking of doing for the foot visitors was asking them to be dropped off at Lymm services where we traditionally meet up, and then get picked up from there after the show ended. Also, can people who live further away get in touch ASAP with their address so that I can send the tickets out by post? Thanks.
