In a somewhat unrelated matter Ive just bought a hairdrier for £2.50 off Vinted to use when applying Waxoyl to tricky to reach areas and seams to melt it into the crevices.

Don’t do what the previous owner of my sons Suzuki Jimny did and apply this over rust, as the rust just gets worse underneath.

100%! Hides sins, makes you feel a bit better but underneath very bad things are happening.

If you put this over well cleaned and treated metal it actually works quite well. Stays flexible and seems to self heal to an extent.

If you paint it over existing rust it'll make everything much worse though.
