Superb spots, some real gems there. I see you have spotted that Cresta thats been there for something like 30 odd years, some one should really keep that as is. Its remarkable that its still there. Probably would turn to dust if it was moved.

Thanks im glad to share them :D they'll be some more spot's coming soon as ive got loads more pictures to add! It's amazing how long that cresta has probably stood without the scrap man offering to take it, though your right it'd probably fall into a heap at the 1st sign of movement!!

Yeh, any chance of a photo of the Cresta when it's dry coz it would make a great wallpaper. And what about the white 86 5 series beemer on the same drive as the Escort??

Just managed to grab a quick pic of this 505 estate in brum the 2nd one i saw that day but sadly couldn't grab a shot of the other cus i was driving.

Saw this outside a small scrapyard in brum. Always like the alfa suds an sprints an was tempted to go in an ask about it but don't think i could afford even this example on my wages.

Couldn't believe this spot just round the corner from my house.

Haven't seen a metro van in year's.

Spotted this another mk1 uno 60s like mine but 3dr that hasn't been on the road for a while. Result. :D

Went past on friday in the work van and it was minus a passanger wing an rear lights so hopefully a work in progress be keeping an eye on it just in case.

I've seen this in Handsworth, must have been parked there for at least 30 years. Apparently the owner doesnt like people asking if its for sale.

Dont see why it couldnt have been pushed into the garage behind (Unless there is something else hidden in there)

Got some pics of it myself but they're not even as good as yours.

I wonder what the story behind this is.

Found some other photos on RR:

I think that looks great just left there to rot......doubt the neighbours are too impressed though as it looks like a posh road.

Is it on streetview?

I wouldn't like to push that anywhere, what would you push against? :)

I'm loving the Peugeot 309 and mk1 Fiat Uno! Those early 309's are now getting very thin on the ground. I probably only spot a couple a year and I know of no survivors locally. The 1990 onwards revised model seems to have survived much better as there’s still a few tatty examples pottering around here. It's exactly the same story with the Uno. They used to be everywhere around here - all gone.

Metro van! :) It looks spotless. I've not seen one of those in the metal anywhere for several years.

Sad to see the XR2i being left to rot. Not seen the road since 2002 according to the DVLA. Other than the white spoiler, it looks very original to me. Such a shame. I bet that was very tidy when it was taken off the road.

The Cresta has been shown before and I'm sure there was a brief story on R-R about it. I don't think the homeowner wants shut of it if memory serves me. I'm genuinely surprised that it’s managed to survive so long sitting where it does. Other than the glass and maybe parts of the interior, I don't think anything else would be salvageable unfortunately. It looks very far gone... Indeed, I wouldn't be surprised if it started to break up if it were to be moved now.
