I already have, nobodys interested!I think part of the problem is almost everything from the B post forwards is the same as the conventional car version and pretty easy to get hold of in good condition.

I'd quite like the electronic dizzy, how much do you want for it? I'll try to fit it to my landcrab.

Ive had a change of heart so nipped out and fully restored the old thing. I dont think ive made such a bad job.

Hummm. I wish! I think Id very much like to cruise round in a van like that. Id have to get some 80's BT overalls and hard hat too.

Shame really, could you not just get a box trailer?

Of course, but it wouldnt be as fun as this. Besides, the van would end up getting crushed anyway....unless someone wants it whole?

Someone would if they didn't have too much shite on their hands with more coming!Does look pretty terminal though Tim and by the time it was roadworthy you could have one with MOT for a lot less bovver.

Looks pretty dire, I vote for hitting it with the flattening stick

You're allowed to turn it into a box van but only if you put a Telecom logo and a picture of Busby on the side

A picture of who?

I guess I could hire it out to a T.V company or something. Maybe they need a BT van "stunt double" for ashes to ashes or something that they want to stick a baddie in and crush, blow up or drive off a cliff.

Do you recon I could get some BT stickers made up on the cheap? OBV I dont want to spend too much...

I would love to save this. Shame I'm too far away

I class what im going to do with it as a "save" of sorts, compared with the alternative anyway....Seriously though, it looks rough in the pics, but its actually rougher in the flesh! If anyone is seriously considering taking this on id be more than willing to part with it...

Kill kill kill! It looks knackered Tim and besides I am looking forward to seeing the trailer being built.Would you sell the SU carb Tim?

Why? it's a knackered old van with rusted out bodywork and an engine on the way out. If it was a good one, then yes, but this ones had it's day.Round West Wales there are quite a few diesel ones still going, they are not exactly an endangered species. You can't save everything!!

Yes I would.

Tim are you binning the seats too ?If so i could do with the spring "stuff" underneath that keeps the cushion pushed up.If not - No worries kind sir

You are welcome to the springy stuff from the drivers seat as its its split and not much use to anyone but the passenger seat is mint. Hopefully someone can make use of it.

I'd like to add that I believe the Van variant has a different PCD to the normal car versions.... worth checking prior to lobbing hubs/struts/wheels in the bin.

Maestro Van trailer = winner. Recycling at its best. Gets my vote :D
