I am a postman so when at work get plenty of opportunity to snap shite. I will continue to post what I see if that is ok?

I must apologise at the quality of some of them as I have to be discreet  .

The Sharan in the last one was great black bumpers and mirrors boggo spec! No pictures because the house it was parked next to had no curtains and there were people in the lounge

I was only thinking the other day that being a postman must be a good way of finding shite parked about. Keep it up! :D

Honda Civic for me please.Looks rather fetching with it's faded front end and rust poking through the underseal high tide mark.

Posted

Yeah I'll take the Civic too, there is one like that round our way with a just as high tide mark....good spots mate 8)

There's a A reg Golf the same colour and spec as that i sometimes see near me, It runs around with a roof rack and ladders on top, I think it belongs to a window cleaner.Must try and get a photo of it one day.

You jammy bastard! You can legitimately walk up drive ways and everything!Keep up the good work. I've seen an Applause in Rochdale, but there's not much cause for me to be there now that AULD_NAN&GRANDAD_WAT have carked. Much sadness.

The Golf was mint 100% old giffer from new style, I also saw a crusty MGB but there were people about, a smashed up Perodua something or other, a Cortina Crusader hidden behind some hedges and a late Renault 5 and Honda Civic rotting away in a back garden I will try my best when I am next at work. Does anyone know if you can turn off the shutter click on a Nokia N95 it is buggering up my stealthy approach :lol:Edit, There was also a couple of Mk3 Fizzies with no grot around the filler cap if anyone wants piccies?

Posted

Looks a bit like Forest Fields/Hyson Green, but I bet I'm a few miles off it there................

Posted

New Basford nearly there I am impressed!I will try the phone on silent thanks.

I'll have the Golf as well please. Nice to see an unmollested one not covered in stickers and suchlike. I'd really like a Mk2 Golf but it'd have to stay standard, that way it'd be worth a fortune in a few years as the last remaining unmodified Golf left.

Great spot! Hope that's a 1.9TD as they're wonderfully smokey and rattly things! A mechanic at work has an S plate Punto TD and it's great to hear it in the workshop after a day of TDV6 and TDV8 Land rovers!

Posted

Nice! I like that Hi-ace camper, looks a bit battered doesnt it....You have a huge advantage when it comes to this, carry on spotting.

Posted

The camper was a wreck looked repairable though, I love the Landrover mirror on that silver Toyota (?) mpv thing

Ooof, the Hiace has taken quite a knock, from the damage looks as though it might have been a bollard or some other short, hard object? :o I like those heavy duty looking bumpers on the front of Rangeys too, are they factory fitted or an aftermarket quirk?

Fuck me, that's Fred Camm's old Dodge recovery truck!!! He's local to me in Donny. Bugger me sideways!

I think so I can remember it having Mpv lettering on the back, useful car and it has 7 seats.

Edit, I just went to the ASKMID website and it says it is a Mazda Bongo, doesn't look like one to me though :?

I agree it was parked the other way round all week but the owner was in the garden, the one day he goes out he turns the car round
