At this time off the year no cover will stop the condensation :( ive tried a few different covers but none are as good as an insulated garage  the carcoon is very good but also very pricey.

A fitted car cover will be very hard to keep condensation-free inside... even the really expensive ones will retain some moisture.I'd be very wary of a steel-framed tent type, purely for the fact if you get a good wind you've got a lot of metal tubes waving around near your car.

I read recently about people having issues with paint microblistering caused by covers. Not experienced it myself but then most of the cars i have under covers have shite paintwork anyway.

My Escort has a bit of the microblistering on the (repainted) bonnet now after being under a cover. It's from direct contact of the cover with the panel, if you can keep the cover off the car with a frame so that there is airflow it should be o.k.

Microblistering tends to be a problem on newer paint - I beleive. If its done a few seasons, its usually OK,treated 'reasonably'.Carcoons your best option, although I'dbe tempted tofashionashort term car port using a few lengths of clear corrugated plastic. Air circulation will ensure it stays dry-longest.
