It seems Her Maj is a secret shiter! (From Wiki)It was sold in the UK under the name Vauxhall Carlton & Viceroy, with the Viceroy being a slightly more luxurious version of the Carlton. It was the Opel Commodore and Vauxhall Viceroy that formed the basis for the first Holden Commodore in Australia, and was sold in South Africa as the Chevrolet Commodore until 1982, when it was rebadged as an Opel. There was an estate version (dubbed the "Voyage" in Germany) offered in the Opel range from 1979 to 1982, which became a mainstay in the Holden range in Australia, and was also available in the Chevrolet range in South Africa. It was never offered in the UK as a Vauxhall Viceroy, although a one-off estate car was built in 1981 for Queen Elizabeth II, for her to carry her Corgi dogs. The car still survives today, one of only 15 Vauxhall Viceroys left registered in the UK, as of 2006.I wonder if she is a member on here? I could imagine her slapping Phillip for not charging the booster pack!

I have seen that very car at the VBOA show at Billing about 5 years back. It's very tidy as you would expect, and I believe it's part of the Vauxhall Heritage collection.

I saw a photo somewhere of QE being given a Renault Dauphine in the 60's, They were the first 'licenced' minicabs.. Wonder if that still survives in a lockup on some estate somewhere.

As the Queen never carries money do you think she had to give the driver a blow job to pay for the fare? I believe that is the prefered method of payment for private hire drivers.

She's not that shite friendly! I seem to remember her P5 being pensioned off cos 'it could not run on unleaded petrol'. FFS! I could imagine engineering firms far and wide falling over themselves to fit hardened valve seats to it!

More importantly does Princess Anne still have the Reliant Robin Van she was given by the factory?

She had a Scimitar too didn't she?

I think the RS2000 owned by Prince Andrew would be a nice old thing to find tucked in the corner of your garage. Much better than his big brothers C Series engined Sherpa.

I thought they could anyway, IOE six in the P5s and the V8s run OK with a timing tweak? They've got one or two Royal Rovers at Gaydon anyhow.
