i need a set of ford mondeo bumpers for my 1996 estate not worried about colour as will be sprayed but must be cheap less than ford breakers want or FREE can collect within 30 miles of bn 17 area i want to chop it in for a galaxy but need to sort the bumpers to get the best price thanks

Have you tried Freecycle mucker? Probably worth bosching a wanted advert on there.Being honest your chances of finding half decent Mongdeo bumpers must be pretty slim I'm afraid, can you not wheel out the cardboard/chicken wire/Isopon and Halfords rattle cans?

Yep they are made from eggshells so the chances of finding decent ones for cheap are slim I reckon. ISOPON is the way forward.I doubt a dealer will offer you much for a 96 mondeo either way, they seem to have hit rock bottom price wise now. Probably not worth the effort!

How much do breakers want?? They are cheap as chips on ebay anyway, especially if you can find a local one for collection:

How about looking on Ovalchat,they're racing a lot of them now & they probably just chuck the bumpers away.

I have a front Mark I saloon one still on the car, its in a sort of grey primer so it may be a recent replacement which may aid removal. I think I am bit out of your range, I'm near Heathrow PM me if any good to you. Re another post I think it has 15 inch steel rims

Ones that didn't break so easily were on my ST24, the bodykit seemed to be of higher quality...
