Wiki indicates '77 for mainland Europe, I'm pretty sure I have an old copy of CAR with a T-plater in. But when's the last time you saw one here, period? Looks ace in pea green too.

this looks GR8! 1978, did we get these as early as that? I'm sure the oldest i've seen is about a W-reg.

 

The guy across the road from me had one and I'm sure it was a T plate.

I tell you what then Bollox - you buy that Sierra, I will obtain a single dangly mirror and a blaking plate for the other side, then we can go on a "zany" charity rally from Birmingham to Bradford. Then we'll leave it in a car park, go to a Toby Jug and generally sour the atmosphere there with tales of our dangerous and exciting quest.

 

Have to say I didn't even notice it was a GL though, I just looked at the inside and thought it was an L. Thought you got a rev counter in the GL? Obviously not. Tight sods.
